Assistive technology is so important, especially for those who use it to complete tasks that one may have difficulty with or can not perform. I have seen a lot of amazing pieces of assistive technology all throughout our society and notice how they all have a purpose.
​At the Abilities Expo, I learned a lot about wheelchairs and how there are so many different kinds that serve different functions. For example, SMILE Mass Wheelchairs constructs wheelchairs that are easily movable on the beach sand and can go into the water and float.
