What is Assistive Technology?By definition, Assistive Technology is any product, whether it be software or equipment that helps improve or maintain the functional abilities of a person with disabilities. Assistive Technology also helps students with disabilities learn to be more independent. They help students to increase the level or amount of work that they can do, similar to a non-disabled peer.
